Hair today… gone tomorrow! Highbridge pair’s close shave for charity

-

It will be a case of hair today, gone tomorrow for two Highbridge residents this weekend when they have their heads and bodies shaved to raise cash for charity!

James Newsome and Michael Mullen, pictured, are holding the sponsored shave in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The event will be held at Highbridge Community Hall in Market Street this coming Saturday (January 19th) and the pair are hoping residents will sponsor them.

“The air ambulance is a vital organisation and I don’t think they get as much support as they deserve,” James told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We wanted to do some different to help them and came up with the idea of a sponsored head and beard shave plus leg and chest wax!”

To support them, sponsor forms are available behind the counter at the One Stop Shop in Market Street, Highbridge.
