man completes 10,000ft sky dive for charity
Burnham-On-Sea man stepped in to complete a 10,000ft sky dive
over Wiltshire this week when one of his relatives was unwell
enough to complete the jump.
Mackay jumped out of a plane above Redlands Airfield in Swindon
to raise money for the Anthony Nolan fund.
jump was given to my sister-in-law, Suzie Harris, as a gift but
unfortunately she was not medically well enough to do it herself
so she asked whether I would take her place and do the sky dive
for her," Innes told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The jump was great. Due to cloud cover in the morning they
were running behind so I didn't jump until 6pm. I was excited
and the nerves didn't kick in until I had seen the first lady
exit the plane. It was a completely unnatural feeling watching
people jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet - normally I'm ordering
a beer at that altitude!"
"But it was all very worthwhile to raise money for a charity
that is close to our hearts."
the Anthony Nolan charity and their fantastic service of finding

us today. Suzie has managed to raise over £200 and I have
