Fridays heavy snow in Burnham-On-Sea may have been disruptive for motorists, but for others it brought a day of fun.
With many schools closed, many families and youngsters were out and about, making the most of the icy conditions, as pictured here.
The snow provided ideal sledging conditions on Burnham seafront, right, and the snow also proved ideal for building snowmen too, as pictured below in Burnham town centre.
With temperatures bearly climbing above freezing all day, the snow did not show any signs of a significant thaw.
