Burnham-On-Sea’s St Andrew’s Church will be celebrating Christmas with a variety of activities and services over the next few days.

Burnham’s Christmas Tree Festival – which has been hosted by 22 local buisnesses and organisations – in the church continues until Christmas Eve. The church is open each day between 10am and 4pm and entrance is free.

On Sunday, the church will be welcoming Burnham’s Mayor and other local people for a community carol service for the whole town at 6.30pm.

“The service will be led by the church choir and a group of singers from St Andrew’s School. Readers will include our Mayor, headteacher Gavin Morris and others,” added Graham.

The church will also be holding a Christingle Service on Christmas Eve at 5pm, with a service of Communion at 11.15pm.

Christmas Day sees services at 8.00am and 10.00am. There will additionally be a service of Communion at Edithmead Chapel on Christmas morning at 10am.
