-

Members and supporters of Burnham-On-Sea’s Town Team have looked back at a busy year during the group’s annual general meeting.

Over 30 people attended the meeting at the town’s Dunstan House Inn on Tuesday night (April 23rd).

During the meeting, the group’s work in bidding for Mary Portas funding was recounted, including securing a £10,000 grant windfall last autumn.

Recent activities have also included the creation of a new town crier and the launch of a volunteer jobs pool called ‘BOS Jobs’.

Bev praised the Town Team’s close co-operation with other community groups, including Burnham Chamber of Trade and BIARS, and said this would continue.
