Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s University of Third Age unveiled this colourful wall hanging at Berrow Medical Centre on Wednesday (December 4th).

The U3A Patchwork 1 Group made the wall hanging to mark the 20th anniversary of Burnham U3A.

Margaret Budden, who has had a long association with the Mental Health Trust, which is now based in the new Berrow Medical Centre, came up with the idea of creating a memory wall hanging for the centre.

“Everyone in the group was very keen and contributed ideas and the result is this wall hanging which was presented to the centre’s Mulberry Centre and now stands in a prime position in the entrance hall,” Margaret told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Members of the Group are Margaret Budden, leader Mary Ballard, Mary Tratt, Diane Cruickshank, Gwyn Marshall, Lynne Arlow, Iris Bennett and Marion Lucas-Moore.
