Vintage motor enthusiasts flock to West Huntspill Classic Car Show

-

Over 100 vehicles went on display at West Huntspill’s annual Vintage & Classic Car Show on Saturday (September 14th).

Bright sunshine attracted crowds of vistors to the show, which was held on the Balliol Hall Field in Church Road, in aid of the village church.

Scores of vintage and classic cars, military vehicles, commercials, motorcycles, stationary engines and tractors went on display.

Among the local exhibitors were Burnham and District Model Railway Club, West Huntspill Steam Railway and Burnham vintage bicycle collector Andy Brewer.

Organiser Jill Woolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a great success. “We have a varied line-up of vehicles on show – from cars and bikes to mini trains. A small number of cars dropped out at the last minute due to the wet weather on Friday night, but we still had a great turnout and thank everyone for their support.”
