The classic stage musical ‘The Wizard of Oz’ is set to be performed in Burnham-On-Sea this coming weekend.

Members of Burnham Excellent Entertainment Society (BEES) will perform the hit show in front of audiences at The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre.

Tickets are on sale for the two performances on Saturday 23rd November at 7.30pm and Sunday 24th November at 3pm.

The show follows Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the cowardly Lion as they travel through Oz. It will feature a live orchestra and a real dog!

The key players are Sandra Hart as The Bad Witch, Melissa as the Dorothy, Sandy Ballantyne as the Lion, Strawman – Zara and Tinman – Lauren McKenna.

Tickets cost £9 for standard seats and £6 for concessions. Discounts are available for advance bookings, Friends of the Princess and BEES members. Contact the Box Office via 01278 784464 for more details.
