Burnham-On-Sea actor Adam Hunter is preparing to perform the lead role in a muscial in Weston later this month.

He’ll be performing in Me and My Girl for Weston Operatic Society at the Weston Playhouse.

Adam, 26, is a natural comic who has been performing for many years in Coastline Players pantomimes in Brean, Weston Operatic Society shows and more recently professionally as part of a Rat Pack tribute called the Swinging Rascals across the country.

Adam, who lives in Burnham and works at Scott’s Furnishings, has also performed some great supporting roles in Sunshine Production’s Little Shop of Horrors in 2012, Avenue Q last August, Weston Operatic’s Hello Dolly, and the highly-acclaimed summer season of shows at the Winter Gardens.

“Adam has performed on stage for years but this is his first big lead role and we are all very proud and excited for him alongside Sam Payne as his leading lady,” his sister, Clare, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Tickets are available from Weston Playhouse and the show runs from April 23rd-26th with a matinee on the Saturday.
