Apex Park in Highbridge is set to hold a free Community Games day later this month when visitors will be able to take part in a wide range of activities.

The fun will be held on Saturday 11th October between 2-4pm with other sessions being planned for the future.

Organised by the volunteers from The Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group with help from Sedgemoor District Council, the free event will include draughts, table tennis, mini-golf, croquet and boules.

The Friends will be on hand to provide advice on how to play the games and also to discuss their work in the park.

New grant funding was received from Highbridge Community First to allow the new games equipment to be bought ready for the event.

The games will take place on the Jubilee Field adjacent to the main entrance car park and toilet block. Car parking is free of charge at Apex Park.
