A series of workshops are being held in Burnham-On-Sea this month as part of a summer arts programme.

The What Change? Project is being run in Burnham and Highbridge by arts charity Take Art.

Three final workshops of the summer are being held over the next week.

‘Speaking In Public’ led by David Reakes will be held this Thursday (21st August) from 7-9pm at The Princess Theatre in Princess Street. Tickets cost £2 (under 16s free). ‘Playing With Words’ led by Sally Jenkinson wil be held on Thursday, 28th August from 2-4pm at Highbridge Library. Tickets are £2 (under 16s free). Take Art will be bringing a fun and friendly session for all the family (over 6 years) led by performance poet Sally Jenkinson from Bristol. It’s a chance to play with words and create poems and stories to share. To book a place, either contact Highbridge Library on 01278 783 241 or Burnham Library on 01278 780 505.
