in Burnham-On-Sea have this week snapped up almost 30 of the mini-lighthouses
which went on display across the town this summer.
of the 6ft-replicas of the iconic wooden lighthouse have been
on show for four months as part of the fundraising Lighthouse
silent auction of the structures ended on Sunday and organiser
Sarah Berryman from HABA
(Highbridge and Burnham Artists) told Burnham-On-Sea.com that
the sale had been a success.
have just four or five of the lighthouses left and the auction
has raised a really great amount, so we're very pleased with how
it's gone," she said.
received many great bids and everyone has had very positive things
to say about the trail."

or who bought them, but I can say that the lighthouses which attracted
the most interest were the illuminated glass lighthouse which
was on show in the tourist information centre and the union flag
lighhouse decorated by Paul Plume who built all the structures."
