Burnham-On-Sea author unveils second book at signing sessions

-

A Burnham-On-Sea author is to hold two book signing sessions to mark the publication of his second novel.

Following the release of his second novel, Andy Cruickshank will be holding the book signings at The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Burnham on Saturday June 21st and Thursday June 26th from 10am-3pm.

Hot on the heels of his first book No Turning Back, which was set in and around Bristol in the near future, the second novel is called The Betrayal of Innocence.

“The story line opens in Armenia in the late 1880’s and moves through the first half of the 20th century, concluding in Italy in 1961. It is not a war novel but does clearly illustrate the horror of conflict, especially the 1939-1945 World War,” he said.

“The early part of the book moves between the heartache caused to a Jewish Armenian family by forced separation, and a young girl’s survival as her family suffer the ultimate price for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and of the wrong faith. The latter part of the story describes how, through her single-mindedness, that same girl fights to see justice done.”

Andy will be delighted to meet anyone interested in his novels or those interested in self-publishing or writing in general.
