New director of golf at Brean Golf Club launches £1 a hole promotion

-

Brean Golf Club has welcomed Andrew March as its new Director of Golf this week and is marking the appointment with a new £1 a hole promotion for players during May.

Andrew is a familiar face to both the Brean members and regular visitors to the club as he has worked as Head PGA Professional at the course for the last six and a half years.

He steps up following David Haines’s decision to move on to a new role away from the club after 20 years at Brean Golf Club.

Andrew said: “I am very pleased that the House family have given me this opportunity to help them realise the potential of the golf facilities at Brean.”

“I will have a tough act to follow as David has been here for a many years and has changed and developed the club considerably over the years, not least the greatly improved course layout.”

He added: “I’m already aware what a wonderful group of people the members are here at Brean and the support they have shown me since the appointment has been really amazing. I and the rest of my team are really looking forward to working with them.”

Players can enjoy golf at the club for £1 a hole during May to mark the changeover and also to promote National Golf Month.

“It’s an opportunity to try out the course during the lighter evenings. You could pay as little as a £1 per hole to play after 4.30pm each day for a minimum of 6 holes and for just £10 you can play unlimited holes that evening.”

“With the course layout offering many shorter loops and being a good test for all levels of golfer it will allow people to sneak in a few holes after work and still be back home in time for tea. The offer runs until 23rd May.”
