200-metre wide Lennon memorial is created on Brean beach
artist who has been creating huge sand art displays on Brean beach
in recent weeks has completed his biggest design yet.
Beck spent over six hours creating the huge 200-metre circular
design on the sand next to Brean Down.
from Bracknell in Berkshire, pictured right, said: "The
intention was to draw a reproduction of the John Lennon memorial
in NYC's Central Park, to be the biggest drawing I have yet made
on the sand - a tad short of 200m in diameter."

on the finished work from the top of Brean Down when it's finished
before it gets washed away by the tide."
