student achieves place at Cambridge University
talented Burnham-On-Sea teenager is celebrating after achieving
a place at Cambridge University.
Marshall, 17, from Highbridge's King Alfred School, has been successful
in her application to the prestigious university.
has been offered a place by Gonville and Caius College to read
Physical Natural Sciences.
comes after she achieved five A grades at AS Level in Biology,
Chemistry, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics last summer.
She is currently in her final year at King Alfred School Sixth
Andrew Owen told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I am delighted with
Bethan's achievement. We are very proud of the achievements of
all of our students and they wouldnt gain success without
their own hard work and the support and guidance of their parents,
teachers and support staff."
