Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club has named its Photographer of the Year for 2013 this week.
The club’s Chairman, Mike Barnard, presented Past Chairman Sharon Stevens with ‘The Argos Cup’ after she accumulated the most points throughout the past 12 months with her entries into the club’s monthly competitions.
Sharon said: “I was very pleased to have won overall, I only actually won one of the 11 competitions but gradually built up points here and there throughout the year. As usual, I was up against some great competitors, with some competitions grossing over 50 entries.”
Burnham Camera Club meets every Tuesday night from 7-9pm at The Bay Centre in Cassis Close, Burnham.
Beginners and experienced, young and old, are welcomed. The club’s annual Photography Exhibition will be taking place this Spring on Sunday 18th May. More details are available at www.BOSCC.org.uk.
