Burnham-On-Sea bed and breakfast is set to be turned into a new
residential care home following approval by council planners this
Lodge in Berrow Road will be transformed into the new facilities
after Sedgemoor District Council approved the application for
a change of use from hotel (use class C1) to residential institution
(use class C2).
new care home will be run by TRACS Limited, a specialist provider
of care and rehabilitation with over 25 years experience. The
accommodation will serve nine vulnerable adult service users aged
between 18 and 65.

visual impact on the character and appearance of the street scene
and will be
compatible with existing residential uses in the immediate locality,"
said the council's Claire Pearce.
