Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens are set to hold a cream teas and jazz afternoon this Sunday (July 27th).

Organised by Sedgemoor District Council’s Community Gardener, Jacqui Strong, the event will be held in the gardens between 2-4pm.

Cream Teas will be served in the gardens whilst Bob Reynolds New Society Jazz Band will provide the entertainment.

Games and activities will be also available free of charge to keep children entertained.

There will also be a raffle operated by the Friends of Marine Cove to raise funds for future events.

“Other activities are taking place on the beach on the 27th so make a day of it, bring along a picnic and enjoy the activities available,” said Jacqui.

Another event will take place on Tuesday 29th July between 11am and 1pm – bring along your digital cameras and take part in a family photography workshop session with the help of local photographer Kimberley Taylor.
