Burnham-On-Sea craft-themed cafe celebrates first year and expansion

-

A Burnham-On-Sea craft-themed cafe has celebrated its first birthday this week with the opening of new facilities.

The Crafty Tea Cup in Victoria Street , opposite St Andrew’s Church, has held a celebration to mark its first anniversary and also unveiled a new function room.

“We’ve had a very busy first year and thank all our customers for their support. Due to the strong demand, we’ve been inspired to open a new craft loft which is ideal for craft workshops and parties,” said owner Gill Hills, pictured right with Dusica Roberts.

“The large upstairs loft room, which is decorated in the same craft theme as our cafe, is available for hire.”

The cafe offers a unique mixture of cakes, paninis and snacks while providing craft magazines and materials to make mobiles and other craft items such as felt cards, decorations and gifts for the home. The cafe is open 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday.
