A cyclist was injured in a collision with a car at a busy roundabout on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday morning (March 23rd).
Police and ambulance crews were called to the Edithmead roundabout next to Burnham’s M5 motorway junction at 9.55am, as pictured.
“A female cyclist who was involved in the collision was taken to Weston General Hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening,” a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The road was partially blocked while emergency services were at the scene.
