Over 50 join hill-top Brent Knoll Easter crosses ceremony

-

A group of 50 people took part in the traditional Easter blessing of three crosses on top of Brent Knoll on Sunday afternoon (April 13th).

Bright sunny weather boosted the numbers watching the symbolic crosses being unveiled, as pictured here.

The outdoor Palm Sunday service, lasting 20 minutes, has been held each year for over 15 years on the summit of the Knoll.

The three crosses are visible to motorists travelling along the A38 and M5 on the eastern side of the Knoll and will be in place until the weekend after Easter.

Churches from across the Burnham-On-Sea area were represented at the hill-top service, led by Reverend Steve Ayres of Burnham Baptist Church.
