Dozens of colourful blooms filled a tiny church on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea over the weekend during its annual flower festival.

Edithmead Church held its popular festival on Saturday and Sunday which this year had a musicals theme.

Arrangements of flowers representing musicals including Cats, Phantom of the Opera and many more were on show in the tin church.

The tiny church was open to the public for the two days and also served teas, raising cash for the church’s upkeep.

On Sunday evening a Songs of Praise service was held to a packed congregation when the histories behind the shows were explained by John Groves accompanied by Jenny on the Organ and Caitlin Berry singing You’ll Never Walk Alone from Carousel.
