20 events organisers in the Burnham-On-Sea area met together on
Thursday night (January 30th) to try and avoid diary clashes this

Folkfest, Burnham Flower Club, Somerset Farmers Markets, The Princess,
Friends of The Princess, Inner Wheel, St Margaret's Somerset Hospice,
Asda, Sedgemoor Ramblers, BEES, Town Team, Marine Cove, Beach
medieval tournament, The Bay Centre, BARB, RNLI, Coastguard and
idea behind this meeting was to collate all events for mass promotion
and to avoid clashes where possible," said Ian. "It
was a successful evening - we had a good turnout and there's a
great programme of events being lined up for 2014. We
intend to hold further meetings in the future and keep everyone's
contact details on file so that we can exchange information, share
volunteers and promote each other's events."
