Burnham fire crews called to investigate fuel leak at property

-

Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to investigate a suspected fuel leak in the town on Sunday evening (April 6th).

Crews were called to Eton Road at 9.20pm following a call from a resident reporting a smell of petrol inside a domestic property.

“One fire appliance was sent to the scene, where crews confirmed a smell of fuel and located the source as a garden shed in an adjacent property,” said a spokesman.

“Fire crews gave safety advice regarding the storage of fuel and made efforts to prevent the smell of fuel entering the neighbouring property.”
