photos: Fun Day raises funds for Burnham-On-Sea's Folkfest
2,000 peple attended a six hour free live music event in Burnham-On-Sea
on Saturday (June 21st) to raise funds for the town's folk festival.
Folkfest Family Fun Day attracted crowds of supporters to the
Burnham Road Playing Fields besides the Bay Centre, where scores
of stalls and live music was laid on.
crowd enjoyed music from local acts including Breeze and Nathaniel
plus Emily Elswood, Driftwood, Taylor T, Tim Fardon, Junction
22 and headliners Six Machine.

Club, the Zone Youth Club, the Youth Council and Burnham Dreamscheme.

Lawn Tennis Club and many others including refreshments and raffles.

The visitors enjoyed six hours of live outdoor music in the sunshine
Several great local music acts, including Curly and Al, took
to the stage

Burnham's Hillview Carnival Club sold refreshing fruit and drinks
