The organisers of Burnham’s FolkFest are holding their traditional Easter Sunday fundraising music marathon today.

The event – which is being held at the Princess Theatre in Burnham – will see live music from 2pm.

Eight great acts will be performing until 11pm to raise funds towards the costs of holding Burnham’s late summer folk festival.

Many of Burnham’s most popular acts will be playing, including Vermin, The Winkers and Sun Dog Days, while special guests will include singer-songwriter Phil King (pictured).

Combyne Arvester, who play hits by the likes of Michael Jackson, ZZ Top and Madness, all in classic Wurzel style will also be in action. There’ll be a bar serving real ale, farmhouse cider and wine, as well as snacks and light refreshments.

Approximate running times are as follows: 2pm The Winkers, 3pm Sun Dog Days, 4pm Phil King, 5.15pm Vermin, 6.30pm Nick and Emily Elswood, 8pm Talk Show Hosts, 9.30pm Combyne Arvester.

Entry will be just £5, giving you a wristband that allows you to come and go as you please.
