A family fun day was held in Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens on Sunday (July 20th), raising hundreds of pounds for a national charity.

Burnham Community Church organised the Summer Fun Day which saw a steady flow of visitors enjoying a wide range of activities in the summer sunshine.

“We were thrilled to see the community coming together for this event – it was a great turnout, helped by a fantastic afternoon of weather,” one of the organisers, Pastor Steve Mason, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“There were great live music performances from the church worship band, the Coastline Singers and Stoddens Stompers, plus super displays from Dancefit and the Lucy Gunter Dance School.”

The event was expected to have raised hundreds of pounds for Hope For Justice, which campaigns against slavery.

Visitors got a chance to enjoy craft stalls, Bric a Brac, face painting, cakes and children’s games as well as the music and dance displays.
