The front door of a Berrow hairdresser’s shop was attacked during an attempted burglary at the weekend.
Burnham-On-Sea Police have appealed for witnesses following the incident at Unwind Hair and Beauty in Berrow Road, which occurred overnight on Friday into Saturday morning.
A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A door was damaged by someone trying to force their way into the property but they failed to get inside.”
Police have warned other businesses in the area to be extra vigilant and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
Staff at Unwind Hair and Beauty said nothing had been stolen and that the damage has been repaired.
