The driver of this lorry was lucky to escape without injury after his vehicle overturned near Burnham-On-Sea on Friday (June 20th).

The lorry, operated by Perrys Recycling, toppled over while travelling around the A38 roundabout at Dunball shortly before 2pm.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene after the crash blocked the busy road.

South Western Ambulance Service spokeswoman Mel Glanville told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to a collision at 1.53pm where a lorry had overturned. Two ambulances attended and the driver, who was out of the lorry, was checked over and found to have no injuries.”

Police diverted traffic and fire crews ensured the lorry was safe.
