southbound re-opens after lorry crash that caused travel chaos
southbound M5 motorway has fully re-opened following a collision
between two lorries that shut it on Wednesday morning.
crash happened on the southbound carriageway, between junction
24 at Bridgwater and junction 25 at Taunton, at 3.15am.

throughout the day. One lane was opened at lunchtime on Wednesday, but there
were still queues through the area.
The two remaining lanes were later opened, said the Highways Agency.
crews had spent almost two hours releasing the driver of one of the
lorries, who was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with serious arm injuries.
