Medieval tournament set to be held on Burnham beach this Sunday

A medieval-themed tournament and craft fair will be held on Burnham-On-Sea beach this Sunday (July 27th).

Hobby horse jousting and a medieval tournament are among the activities being planned next to the Pavilion by a group of fundraisers in aid of Burnham's Poppy Appeal.

The afternoon will begin with a craft fair opening from 1.30pm followed by the arrival of a group of knights and pages for the games at 2.30pm.

A number of fun activities and 'historic games' featuring a cast of residents of all ages for families to watch will be held.

"Come and support us on the beach by the Pavilion on what we hope will be a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon," said organiser Gaynor Brown.
