Burnham-On-Sea student moves a step closer to Miss England crown

A student from Burnham-On-Sea who is bidding to become Miss England has moved a step closer to lifting the crown.

Emily Sanders, 21, is one of 30 contestants competing in the first Miss England semi-final heat for 2015.

Emily received the most votes on Facebook and has therefore gone through to the Miss England Social Media Round. It comes after she was featured by Burnham-On-Sea.com in October here.

Emily, a trainee history teacher, will now compete in Leicester against other girls from all over England who are also bidding for a place in the Miss England Semi-Final.

Thirty girls from across the country have taken part in the Miss England semi final heat one competition and online photographic contest.

Part of the competition included a trip to meet the Miss England team at their office in Leicester where the girls demonstrated their catwalk skills and had their photograph taken.
