film is to be screened at Burnham-On-Sea's cinema in January to
raise funds for a popular Highbridge event.
Highbridge Festival Of The Arts will benefit from a special matinee
screening of Philomena at the Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street.

our biggest fundraising events of the year so we would urge people

film will be shown on Monday 26th January with doors opening at
1.30pm and the film starting at 2pm. Tickets, costing £5,

is a 2013 drama film directed by Stephen Frears, based on the
book The Lost Child of Philomena Lee by journalist Martin Sixsmith.
Starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan, it tells the true story
of Philomena Lee's 50-year-long search for her forcibly adopted
son, and Sixsmith's efforts to help her find him. The film has
been recognised by several international film awards.
