roadworks are set to close a busy town centre road in Burnham-On-Sea
for two months from today (Monday).
A 213-metre section of Highbridge Road and Oxford Street will
be closed during gas mains replacement work.
Somerset County Council's highways team have warned motorists
to expect possible delays and a diversion has been put in place
around the closure. This could lead to an increase in traffic
using side roads through the town centre.
