Funeral date announced for community-spirited Highbridge resident

The date of the funeral has been announced for a community-spirited Highbridge resident who has passed away this week after a two-year battle with cancer.

As reported here, tributes have poured in for Paul Plume, who died on Monday morning following a battle with lung cancer.

Tributes have poured in for the 48 year-old, pictured, who was an active member of many groups in Burnham and Highbridge.

His final project was building 33 mini wooden replicas of Burnham's iconic beach lighthouse for Burnham's successful lighthouse trail.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday December 24th at 11am at St John's Church in Highbridge. Family and friends will be walking from their home in Grange Avenue, Highbridge to church. His family says all will be welcome to attend both the funeral and walking.
