The founder of a wildlife rescue centre near Burnham-On-Sea will be launching a new book about her work this weekend.

Pauline Kidner from Secret World will be unveiling ‘A Place Of Safety’ featuring stories and photos about the animals that are cared for there.

The new book will be unveiled at a special event on Saturday evening (September 13th) in East Huntspill Village Hall.

“This will be an opportunity to get a signed copy of Pauline’s long-awaited fourth book which contains a foreword from Sir Terry Pratchett,” said the charity’s Debbie O’Keefe.

The book tells the story of how Secret World grew from a former tourist attraction into a rescue centre that takes in 5,000 animals a year.
