Burnham-On-Sea pet shop’s raffle raises £600 for two good causes

A Burnham-On-Sea shop has raised hundreds of pounds for two local good causes.

The team at The Pet Shop in Burnham High Street have held a raffle this month to raise funds for Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Knitted Knockers.

June Fisher at the shop presented a total of £600, split between the two good causes, to the two groups on Saturday (September 27th), supported by the Town Crier.

Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer provides support to families of women with breast cancer across the county.

Knitted Knockers provides women with 100% cotton knitted prosthetic breasts to support la dies who have undergone Mastectomies and Lumpectomies.
