Year 11 students from a Highbridge school celebrated the end of their school year with a lavish prom on Friday night (May 23rd).

A total of 268 pupils and staff from King Alfred School gathered at Rookery Manor for their special night, as pictured here.

The students arrived in a colourful range of ways for the big event – from a double-decker bus to horseback and even a moibility scooter!

“A great evening of fun was had by all – they enjoyed a three-course dinner whcihb was followed by a disco and a live band,” a school spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Rookery Manor was a great location for such a memorable occasion for the students as they marked the end of their school year.”
