A special film screening in Burnham-On-Sea has raised more than £750 for Highbridge’s Festival of the Arts.

Over 100 people attended this week’s special matinee screening of Quartet at the Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street.

“We are delighted that a total of £756 was raised for the festival,” the event’s Jenny Golding, told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “We wish to thank Pat and Beryl Scott for the use of their cinema again this year and everyone who came along.”

Pat Scott said: “It gives me great pleasure to support the festival, and I thank all our film goers for their support.”

This year will be the 67th Highbridge Festival of the Arts, which is set to be held in Burnham’s Princess Theatre from 6th-15th March.
