24 people killed on roads across the Burnham-On-Sea area in 11 years

New figures published this week show 24 people have been killed across the Burnham-On-Sea area during an 11 year-period.

Official data recorded by police between 1999 and 2010 has been released which shows the numbers and locations of fatal road accidents.

In Burnham, Highbridge, Brean, Berrow, Brent Knoll, East Brent, Watchfield, Mark, Rooksbridge and Lympsham there were a combined total of 24 people killed in collisions.

Over the same period the data shows 85 people died on the roads across the whole Sedgemoor local authority area.
