'Santa Paws' campaign hailed a success
lovers in Burnham-On-Sea have donated hundreds of gifts to an
appeal campaign to help local stray and rescue dogs.
District Council launched its first 'Santa Paws' appeal earlier
this month, as we reported here.
appeal has now closed for donations and has been hailed a great
Paws organiser Fiona Dickson, one of Sedgemoors Dog Wardens,
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We have been bowled over by the
generosity of the public and the number of donations received
for the appeal."
"Hundreds of individual items such as toys, blankets, chews,
bowls and leads, as well as filled shoeboxes, have been received
across the three drop-off points."
