New owner to re-open Burnham-On-Sea night club this Thursday

-

A Burnham-On-Sea night club is set to re-open this week with a new owner and manager.

Skye Bar in Burnham’s High Street closed its doors at the end of 2013, as we reported here when the former owners decided to concentrate on other business interests.

The club’s lease has this week been taken over by Weston entrepreneur Adam Georgallis who plans to re-open the club this Thursday (April 3rd).

Adam, pictured left with manager Beau Beasley, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I’m keen to bring the club back to life and see it successful again.”

“I’ve always liked Burnham and have had family in the town for many years – my uncle use to run the Customs House on The Esplanade.”

He added: “We want to be a responsible club that is part of the community, helping local charities and groups, and we’ll have a strict door policy in place. I am happy for any nearby residents who have questions or concerns to come to me direct.”

Sky Bar re-opens this Thursday and it will then be open every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
