Children at Brent Knoll Primary School have pulled on their capes to become superheroes for a day!

As a finale to their topic work on saving and supporting the environment, the Reception and Key Stage 1 children at Brent Knoll Primary had a special superhero day.

The young superheroes celebrated the completion of all their recent tasks, which ranged from re-using old materials to create new shopping bags, to investigating ways the school could reduce its use of energy.

In a special superheroes assembly each child received a certificate to remind them of their achievements.

Head teacher, Chris Burman, said: “This topic has been a great introduction to our youngest children on what must be one of the most important subjects affecting all of us. Looking at the work achieved this term, I think the future will be in good hands.”
