MP to hold Commons debate on cuts to children's centres
cutbacks to children's centres in the Burnham-On-Sea area will
be debated in Parliament next week.

last November, Somerset County Council has said that Burnham's
Octopus Children's Centre could be among the 18 centres across
the region in jeopardy.
Children's Centre would continue to operate normally, but five
centres, including the Octopus Centre, would be 'de-designated',
meaning they will no longer be classed as Children's Centres.
