town centre overhaul looks set to be complete by March
raft of improvements to Burnham-On-Sea's town centre look set
to be completed by the end of March 2015, according to projected
new dates from the County Council unveiled this week.

that new 'street furniture', to include new columns for hanging
baskets and events banners, will be installed during early January.

explained: "The County Council has scheduled the resurfacing
work away from the worst of the winter weather and I will be seeking
plenty of advance notice to ensure there is minimal disruption
plans to introduce eight new large advertising banners through
the town centre to promote major community events such as last
week's Christmas Lights Switch-On and the town's annual FolkFest
were approved last night by town councillors. These will be free
to book, although event organisers will need to get the banners
