Hundreds of Volkswagens will be heading to Brean Beach on Sunday (April 13th) for a charity event.

Organisers of the event, called Clubs Unite At the Beach, say Volkswagen groups from across the UK are set to support it.

It is being held to raise funds for The Lullaby Trust, a charity that promotes expert advice on safer baby sleep and provides special support for bereaved families of young children.

The vehicles will be travelling onto the beach from 11am and will be in situ on the sands for several hours.

The event is being held in memory of Zachary Bryson, who lost his life from a condition called SIDS – cot death – at the age of just four months. The Lullaby Trust helped his family after the tragedy.

“We would like as many people as possible to come along and celebrate Zacs short happy life and support the Lullaby Trust Charity,” said one of the organisers.
