Young dancers in Burnham and Highbridge have raised funds for a breast cancer charity by taking part in a special ‘wear it pink week’.
Members of the town’s Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts Centre have worn pink outfits to their classes and donated sponsorship fees to the Breast Cancer Campaign.
“All of the students took great delight in wearing pink outfits to their dance, singing, drama and fitness classes to raise the money,” said the centre’s Lucy Gunter.
“The students kindly donated to the charity for each pink outfit they came up with and we had some great creations!”
“We are very proud to have raised over £150 for the charity and will continue to support them as we have in the past. The students had great fun during their classes too!”
