UK launches new Highbridge activity group after funding boost
UK Somerset has launched a new multi-activity session in Highbridge
after receiving funding from the local committee of the Community
fortnightly sessions include New Age Kurling, Boccia, Ping and
seated Hockey, which are easy-to-learn activities that are fun
group meets every fortnight on Fridays, following the launch on
Friday 6th March. The sessions run from 2-3.30pm and include refreshments
for just £1.50.
funding has enabled the new group to purchase equipment which
is used during its sessions in St John's Church Hall.
Ramsay from Age UK Somerset said: "We really appreciate the
support from James and Janet and are so glad that they could come
and join in the fun with us."
