Air ambulance lands in Burnham to help patient after heart attack

An air ambulance landed in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday (March 20th) to help a resident who had suffered a suspected heart attack.

The yellow Dorset and Somerset helicopter landed in a field next to the town's Tesco store in the Frank Foley Parkway, as pictured here.

Air ambulance spokeswoman Tracey Bartrum told "We were called to help an adult who had suffered a suspected cardiac arrest."

The air ambulance was also called to fly the patient to hospital for urgent treatment.
